If Ezequiel Dominic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Oro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Clodio in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Corralito FC's Ezequiel Dominic sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fidel Oro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ezequiel Dominic was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Dominic dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fidel Oro, 0-1. 1-1 became the score in the 64th minute when Alvaro Lawrence elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Cirilo Chale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Corralito FC's Ezequiel Dominic got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Haritz in the 78th minute of play forced Corralito FC's goalkeeper Leonides Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Corralito FC's Laureano Sugar got a free kick in the 84th minute. Elvio Haritz might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonides Colas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guasayán AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Lawrence was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Corralito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Lawrence came free, but Leonides Colas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Alvaro Lawrence got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corralito FC's goalkeeper Leonides Colas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
