Feliciano Oxarra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 41st minute, Gaspar Tome got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Txatxu in the 68th minute of play forced El Alazan Zurubi's goalkeeper Mario Quilino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candido Txatxu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The supporters of Batán booed when El Alazan Zurubi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Amato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Candido Txatxu might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Quilino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Candido Txatxu ran back to his position shaking his head. Candido Txatxu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mario Quilino having to make a save. Batán's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
