Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Froilan Janpier took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ariel Sengrat hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Conrado Beti kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Pichanas's Arnaldo Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Distiratsu in the 14th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Candido Nataniel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Maldonado in the 20th minute of play forced Forres's goalkeeper Mario Abar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candido Nataniel might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Abar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Candido Nataniel ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Forres's Mario Abar got control of the ball when Candido Nataniel tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Froilan Janpier during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Froilan Janpier hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Forres's Hermengildo Distiratsu got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute Pichanas were awarded a corner. Conrado Beti went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Conrado Beti almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Forres's Mario Abar did a great save. 41 minutes into the match, Pichanas's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Janpier came free, but Arnaldo Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Pichanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Tab to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Forres's Froilan Janpier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnaldo Faro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Forres's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Maldonado came free, but Mario Abar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Delmiro Oihenarte tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Mario Abar. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 52nd minute. In the 57th minute Candido Nataniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Abar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Abar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Nataniel's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Hermengildo Distiratsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Faro having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Pichanas's Ruperto Maldonado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Abar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Janpier in the 78th minute of play forced Pichanas's goalkeeper Arnaldo Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes, Enrique Tab mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pichanas and the Forres players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Enrique Tab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Faro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Janpier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Marcial Distiratsu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Faro. Pichanas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcial Distiratsu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Horacio Ceandro hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Ruperto Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pichanas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
