Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Genaro Sugar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Birjaio in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Christian Raymundo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Luis ARG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lezama FC the free kick. Godofredo Birjaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Godofredo Birjaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Sugar was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Dario Ponc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Bizi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lezama FC's Alfredo Bizi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Ponc in the 27th minute of play. Anacleto Maldonado hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. San Luis ARG's Santo Iratxo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfredo Bizi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Lezama FC's Anacleto Maldonado got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Angelino Emmanuel might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Sugar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelino Emmanuel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th match minute, Lezama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Fonso to maneuver through the defense. Paulino Aresti kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Daniel Lopes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Genaro Sugar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Birjaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genaro Sugar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godofredo Birjaio in the 46th minute. Angelino Emmanuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Genaro Sugar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Ponc to make the kick off. Dario Ponc kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Godofredo Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th match minute, Lezama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Fonso to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th match minute, San Luis ARG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Ponc to maneuver through the defense. After 69th play minutes Godofredo Birjaio shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Genaro Sugar and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lezama FC's zone, Dario Ponc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Bizi came out of the goal and Dario Ponc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Godofredo Birjaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lezama FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Birjaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Genaro Sugar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Birjaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Lezama FC booed when San Luis ARG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Raymundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lezama FC's Angelino Emmanuel got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Christian Raymundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the San Luis ARG players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lezama FC.
