In the 29th minute, Amancio Gustau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Quinteros hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Elvio Oriche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Elvio Oriche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Nemesio Charro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Toroyacú's Fausto Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Rosario in the 44th minute of play. Elvio Oriche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Charro having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amancio Gustau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Toroyacú getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Fausto Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Quinteros in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Amancio Gustau dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fausto Aguilera, 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Toroyacú had won after a very even match.
