When Alberto Osoro fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca jnrs's protests and gave Alberto Osoro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pedernal FC booed when Boca jnrs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Osoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfonso Belo was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Justino Francis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Justino Francis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Norberto Mendebal made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ovidio Goyo immediately put the ball in play. After a defensive mix-up in Pedernal FC's zone, Francisco Poncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Oxel came out of the goal and Francisco Poncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Pedernal FC's Alfonso Belo threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teofilo Dolfos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alberto Osoro kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When Francisco Poncio came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Boca jnrs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Poncio couldn't finish the play. In the 34th match minute, Pedernal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Francis to maneuver through the defense. When Samuel Marino fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pedernal FC's protests and gave Samuel Marino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th match minute, Pedernal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Marino to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Boca jnrs were awarded a corner. Braulio Policarpio went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Marcelino Diagur heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Poncio was the one to do the kick off. Norberto Mendebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Alfonso Belo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Francisco Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Osoro in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Oxel saved Pedernal FC from getting behind. Francisco Poncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Oxel having to interfere. Ovidio Goyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Pedernal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Osoro came free, but Ernesto Oxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Poncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ernesto Oxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boca jnrs's Francisco Poncio got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Osoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Osoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Francisco Poncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ernesto Oxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Alberto Osoro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ernesto Oxel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Teofilo Panpili fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pedernal FC's protests and gave Teofilo Panpili a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pedernal FC's Teofilo Panpili got a free kick in the 94th minute. Francisco Poncio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Ernesto Oxel made a huge save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Pedernal FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Boca jnrs for much of the match.
