Cayetano Irrintzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Vela, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Emilio Vela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Añatuya's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Vela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Irrintzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A.C.Siena Robur's Cayetano Irrintzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Vela in the 14th minute of play. Mauro Benino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Andres Abeita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Añatuya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C.Siena Robur the free kick. A.C.Siena Robur's Braulio Precioso got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Añatuya's Andres Abeita got a free kick in the 34th minute. Godfredo Quentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Precioso in the 35th minute of the match. Godfredo Quentin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Rafe, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With a little luck, A.C.Siena Robur's Cayetano Irrintzi got control of the ball when Dante Jacindo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match, Dante Jacindo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cayetano Irrintzi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Vela made a kick off. Braulio Precioso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Bernabe Artaldo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and A.C.Siena Robur's Cayetano Irrintzi didn't even have to move. Cayetano Irrintzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Abeita, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Dante Jacindo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Irrintzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Cayetano Irrintzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Vela, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Cayetano Irrintzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Vela went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Dante Jacindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Gagriel during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute, Gabriel Gagriel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godfredo Quentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Rafe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Añatuya booed when A.C.Siena Robur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Iratze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernabe Artaldo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cayetano Irrintzi. A.C.Siena Robur's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Dante Jacindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Emilio Vela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.C.Siena Robur's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
