The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Diego Fresco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Santikurtz in the 3rd minute of play. Isaac Suero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Gauargi in the 6th minute of the match. With a little luck, Constanza's Isaac Suero got control of the ball when Honorio Oriol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jimeno Gauargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Isaac Suero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cochequingam AFC's Honorio Oriol got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Honorio Oriol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Suero having to interfere. Honorio Oriol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Isaac Suero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leonardo Guzman hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Constanza's Isaac Suero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Gauargi in the 40th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anier Santikurtz to make the kick off. When Enrique Seber fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Constanza's protests and gave Enrique Seber a yellow card for diving instead. Cochequingam AFC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Constanza's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Julio Bieito took the corner. A collision led to Constanza getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Victoriano Giraldo hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Constanza's Victoriano Giraldo fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal, but it hit the crossbar and went out into the crowd. Diego Fresco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Santikurtz in the 67th minute of play. Isaac Suero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Gauargi, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Diego Fresco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Constanza's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
