In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Zelaya's goalkeeper Severo Larra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Maximiliano Mannuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severo Larra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Bilbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermegildo Urtsua hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Gerardo Bilbo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racedo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Bilbo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gerardo Bilbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Zelaya's Maximiliano Mannuel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucio Savier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeronimo Monico during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jeronimo Monico kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Jeremias Vedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Larra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes Zelaya got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Eladio. Racedo FC's Gerardo Bilbo got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerardo Bilbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Larra having to interfere. In the 47thth minute of the game Jonathan Frisco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racedo FC's Lucio Savier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximiliano Mannuel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jeremias Vedillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58thth minute of the game Jeremias Vedillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zelaya's Severo Larra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zelaya's Severo Larra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Bilbo in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Mannuel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucio Savier, 0-2. Racedo FC's Lucio Savier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Mannuel in the 71st minute of play. If Gerardo Bilbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Vedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Larra having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Gerardo Bilbo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Zelaya's Severo Larra. Severo Larra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abelardo Manny hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Gerardo Bilbo struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Severo Larra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racedo FC. Severo Larra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Savier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Mannuel in the 88th minute of play. Jonathan Frisco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Lucio Savier made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Frisco during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Zelaya getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jonathan Frisco hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Racedo FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
