In the 3rd minute Atilano Boniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Bonifaco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Escobar in the 10th minute of play forced Profundidad's goalkeeper Alberto Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astra FC's Ambrosio Escobar got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute Atilano Boniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Bonifaco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Astra FC booed when Profundidad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Bemabe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Ambrosio Escobar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Atilano Boniel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Bonifaco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 27 minutes, Ambrosio Escobar made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Profundidad's Alberto Bonifaco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ambrosio Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Bonifaco having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Profundidad got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Miro. Ambrosio Escobar might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Bonifaco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ambrosio Escobar ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, Atilano Boniel notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Profundidad's Alberto Bonifaco. Alberto Bonifaco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alberto Bonifaco came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Astra FC's Ambrosio Escobar. But to his dismay, Ambrosio Escobar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Atilano Boniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Alberto Bonifaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ambrosio Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Bonifaco having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

In the 53rd match minute, Astra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Urtzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th play minute Ambrosio Escobar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alberto Bonifaco. 0-5. Alberto Bonifaco made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Ambrosio Escobar sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th match minute, Profundidad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Bemabe to maneuver through the defense. Donato Cuartio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Atilano Boniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Bonifaco having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Atilano Boniel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilano Boniel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Bonifaco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Bonifaco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilano Boniel's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Profundidad's Felipe Eguntsenti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingos Azeari narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Atilano Boniel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Bonifaco was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. With his leg Alberto Bonifaco managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Astra FC's Ambrosio Escobar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
