In the 3rd match minute, Cerrillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Maldonado to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Cerrillos FC's Gualterio Peruxu got a free kick in the 16th minute. With his leg Ambrosio Hibai managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Cerrillos FC's Jorge Ishmael fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Cordeara during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Cerrillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Cordeara to maneuver through the defense. Sixto Gorosti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Severino Olando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Ibañez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Olando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Ibañez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Eliseo Ibañez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severino Olando was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Eliseo Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Joel Ler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colon ES Santa Fe's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Ler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Olando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Colon ES Santa Fe's Sixto Gorosti in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cerrillos FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sixto Gorosti made the kick off in the second half. Ambrosio Hibai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Ishmael in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Colon ES Santa Fe's Sixto Manex got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The audience was convinced that Modesto Karlo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ambrosio Hibai was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Marcos Cordeara got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 57th minute, Marcos Cordeara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Colon ES Santa Fe getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Severiano Mikolas hit a great ball. Sixto Gorosti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Severino Olando came out and tried to block the shot, but Sixto Gorosti slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 72nd minute. Sixto Gorosti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Olando having to interfere. Jorge Ishmael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Eliseo Ibañez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colon ES Santa Fe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Severino Olando successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sixto Gorosti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Olando having to interfere. If Sixto Gorosti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Jorge Ishmael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
