The Cortaderas AFC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Cortaderas AFC's Desiderio Pepillo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Cortaderas AFC were awarded a corner. Antonio Ricart went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Cortaderas AFC's corner Antonio Ricart fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rosendo Millano quite easily take care of the ball. In the 60th minute, Desiderio Pepillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cortaderas AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 65 minutes into the match, Iguazú AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Lizar came free, but Rosendo Millano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Siro Gaizko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iguazú AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Gaizko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Semeno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eleuterio Reynardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Aurelio Semeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robustiano Ponc hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Serafin Olo from long distance, 80 minutes into the match, got Aurelio Semeno's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Siro Gaizko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Siro Gaizko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
