Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cholila's Denis Oxel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Celedonio Udalaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardino Jayvier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Oxel in the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to Echegoyen FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jose Corderall hit a great ball. Candido Rami's late challenge caught a Cholila's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Candido Rami helped the player get up and apologised. Denis Oxel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardino Jayvier made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Celedonio Udalaitz sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Celedonio Udalaitz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bernardino Jayvier, passed just outside the right post. Denis Oxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bernardino Jayvier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Guillerme in the 32nd minute of play forced Cholila's goalkeeper Guido Ondino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Evaristo Jacindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Ondino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureliano Guillerme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Ondino having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Aureliano Guillerme made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cholila's zone, Evaristo Jacindo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Ondino came out of the goal and Evaristo Jacindo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Oxel struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Bernardino Jayvier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cholila. Evaristo Jacindo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Guido Ondino made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Cristo Maurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Denis Oxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florentino Orain during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Echegoyen FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Florentino Orain hit a great ball. Denis Oxel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Udalaitz in the 76th minute of play forced Echegoyen FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Jayvier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celedonio Udalaitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardino Jayvier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Echegoyen FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Corderall. Denis Oxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Bernardino Jayvier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardino Jayvier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Udalaitz in the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Cholila's Denis Oxel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardino Jayvier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Aureliano Guillerme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cholila booed when Echegoyen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Guillerme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guido Ondino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Guillerme, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. The Echegoyen FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Echegoyen FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
