Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Villanueva's Damian Valente started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Alonzo Celio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villanueva's Domingo Isadore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Celio in the 4th minute of play. Damian Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Villanueva's zone, Sixto Montez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Isadore came out of the goal and Sixto Montez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 8 played minutes Felipe Pigna got a freekick which was hit by Iker Gabon. Sixto Montez hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Alonzo Celio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Domingo Isadore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alonzo Celio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Sixto Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Felipe Pigna fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Felipe Pigna's Sixto Montez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Domingo Isadore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sixto Montez went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Sixto Montez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Domingo Isadore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonzo Celio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sixto Montez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Isadore having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Felipe Pigna's Alonzo Celio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingo Isadore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Gabon in the 43rd minute of play forced Villanueva's goalkeeper Domingo Isadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alonzo Celio struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Domingo Isadore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Felipe Pigna. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sixto Montez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domingo Isadore made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Benicio Feliu sent off a good shot on target. Villanueva's Domingo Isadore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Celio in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonzo Celio got free with Domingo Isadore in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute, Sixto Montez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Alonzo Celio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Isadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Montez in the 65th minute of the match. Domingo Isadore was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sixto Montez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 67 minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Villanueva's goalkeeper Domingo Isadore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Celio. Alonzo Celio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Isadore having to interfere. Alonzo Celio struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Domingo Isadore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Felipe Pigna. Domingo Isadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Montez in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Villanueva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Oxarra to maneuver through the defense. Nicasio Mendebal, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sixto Montez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Isadore having to interfere. Alonzo Celio struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Domingo Isadore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Felipe Pigna. After a defensive mix-up in Villanueva's zone, Sixto Montez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Isadore came out of the goal and Sixto Montez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felipe Pigna played a much better game than Villanueva and deserved their victory. The Villanueva players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
