Caballa FC's Leonardo Lain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Leoiar in the 12th minute of play. German Ibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Lluis in the 14th minute of play. Hipolito Quin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Leonardo Lain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantino Amaya kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Saturnino Leoiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Lain. Caballa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saturnino Leoiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Cienaguilla FC's Herminio Peyo got a free kick in the 28th minute. Serafin Lluis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute of the match, Emilio Calvino got a very nice opportunity to score, but German Ibar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 34th match minute, Cienaguilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Peyo to maneuver through the defense. German Ibar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Lluis, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. German Ibar made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Emilio Calvino sent off a good shot on target. Fernan Teyo's late challenge caught a Cienaguilla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernan Teyo helped the player get up and apologised. Fernan Teyo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Cienaguilla FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafin Lluis was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Cienaguilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Lluis came free, but German Ibar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Emilio Calvino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but German Ibar was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. When Fernan Teyo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Caballa FC's Fernan Teyo got a free kick in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Emilio Calvino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caballa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Calvino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Ibar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Caballa FC's Leonardo Lain got control of the ball when Herminio Peyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Constantino Amaya kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Saturnino Leoiar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Leonardo Lain made a huge save. Hipolito Quin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Leonardo Lain when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Saturnino Leoiar struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Leonardo Lain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cienaguilla FC. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Cienaguilla FC. Aquilino Faro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leonardo Lain. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saturnino Leoiar got free with Leonardo Lain in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Cienaguilla FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cienaguilla FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
