Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lucas Abeita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Manuelo during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Cavalango got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Barros. If Amador Conrao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Emanuel Manuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Hernández FC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Hernández FC's Paolo Basualdo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benito Illart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Abeita in the 26th minute of play. Lucas Abeita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Benito Illart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Illart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Abeita in the 42nd minute of the match. Emanuel Manuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Arnaldo Liher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th match minute, Cavalango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Daunte to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Amador Conrao made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Hernández FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Abeita came free, but Benito Illart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emiliano Daunte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lucas Abeita struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Benito Illart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cavalango. 59 minutes into the match, Emiliano Daunte dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Illart, 1-1. Cavalango's Arnaldo Liher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Conrao in the 66th minute of play. If Paolo Basualdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Cavalango's Lucas Abeita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Cavalango's Emiliano Daunte got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Illart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Abeita, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Cavalango supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cavalango would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
