When Jairo Frascuelo came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Social y Deportivo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Frascuelo couldn't finish the play. Jairo Frascuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignacio Dei hit a great ball. Felipe Opilano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Lopez in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbano Donostia saved Social y Deportivo from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Uhin in the 32nd minute of play forced Ramblón's goalkeeper Severiano Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Raimundo Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Opilano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Urbano Donostia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Urbano Donostia made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Felipe Opilano sent off a good shot on target. Mario Uhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Raimundo Lopez made the kick off in the second half. Urbano Donostia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Opilano, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Mario Uhin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severiano Roldan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Felipe Opilano notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Social y Deportivo's Urbano Donostia. Urbano Donostia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jairo Frascuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximo Ereinotz during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ramblón booed when Social y Deportivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Ereinotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Social y Deportivo's Urbano Donostia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Opilano in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Jairo Frascuelo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Severiano Roldan, 1-1. Jairo Frascuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Roldan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Felipe Opilano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramblón's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Opilano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbano Donostia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Social y Deportivo's Domingo Timo got a free kick in the 87th minute. Felipe Opilano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute, Raimundo Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
