Siján AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Gaitan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelino Bastia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Onbera having to interfere. If Mateo Gaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Siján AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roque Poz to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Siján AFC's Mateo Gaitan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raimundo Onbera. That made the score 0-2 after 55 minutes of play. Marcelino Bastia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Onbera having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Angulas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Bastia came free, but Raimundo Onbera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angulas AFC's Raimundo Onbera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Bastia in the 67th minute of play. Raimundo Onbera was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Marcelino Bastia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcelino Bastia really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Marcelino Bastia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. When Marcelino Bastia got free in front of the goal in the 95th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Raimundo Onbera was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Siján AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
