A collision led to Talamayo getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Narciso Sandalio hit a great ball. Rogelio Beila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Gombal having to interfere. In the 12th minute Ceferino Honesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Gombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Chañar's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Inko came free, but Victorio Lluterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Elija struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Victorio Lluterio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talamayo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Inko in the 18th minute of play forced Chañar's goalkeeper Victorio Lluterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Elija's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorio Lluterio was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Chañar's zone, Benjamin Elija stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The long shot by Gaudencio Bela in the 37th minute really tested Florentino Gombal's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Talamayo's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Honesto came free, but Florentino Gombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florentino Gombal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ceferino Honesto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 40 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceferino Honesto in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Gombal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute of the match Siro Abascal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florentino Gombal skillfully saved the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Talamayo's goalkeeper Florentino Gombal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Beila. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ceferino Honesto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Omar Casado thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Florentino Gombal, a very annoying self made goal in the 54th minute which led to 2-0. Ceferino Honesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Florentino Gombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceferino Honesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ceferino Honesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Chañar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Bartolo Abar's late challenge caught a Chañar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartolo Abar helped the player get up and apologised. Bartolo Abar hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Talamayo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gaudencio Bela was slow to take the kick. During this time Chañar's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Gregorio Ubarna managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chañar fully deserved thier win.
