Quehué FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Rios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Uribelarrea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Ubendu came free, but Ignacio Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignacio Demario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Ubendu, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Matias Rios made a precise shot to the right of Ignacio Demario. Uribelarrea FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Wilfredo Gorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfredo Gorri to make the kick off.
