The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Ifrán getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Benito Milian hit a great ball. If Nemesio Rito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mariano Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Florian kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Victoriano Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Rito in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute Urbano Chano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Txilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Danilo Furman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgilio Martino, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Nemesio Rito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Pacorro having to interfere. Luisito Txilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Cleto Raebert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Maquina de Junin's Luisito Txilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Chano in the 41st minute of play. Urbano Chano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Louis's late challenge caught a Ifrán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnulfo Louis helped the player get up and apologised. Arnulfo Louis hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Ifrán's Timoteo Ritchie broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Mariano Costante made the kick off in the second half. Nemesio Rito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Victoriano Pacorro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nemesio Rito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Victoriano Pacorro made a huge save. Anacleto Florian charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anacleto Florian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th match minute, La Maquina de Junin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Florian to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Raebert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victoriano Pacorro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nemesio Rito in the 71st minute. Victoriano Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Costante in the 74th minute of play. Mariano Costante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nemesio Rito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victoriano Pacorro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gaspar Erramun. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Maquina de Junin players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ifrán.
