Palomar FC's Mateo Elija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Rosalio in the 8th minute of play. Geronimo Argi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Elija having to interfere. The supporters of Ramblón AFC booed when Palomar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Turi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramblón AFC's Alejo Evarado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Palomar FC. Fidel Rosalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Mateo Elija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ovidio Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Fidel Rosalio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Elija was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Argi in the 26th minute of play forced Palomar FC's goalkeeper Mateo Elija to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eloy Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Palomar FC's Amancio Bartoleme got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fidel Rosalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Elija having to interfere. Cipriano Urtsua hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Mateo Elija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Argi, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Ovidio Chuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Miro having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geronimo Argi was the one to do the kick off. Oscar Miro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Bartoleme, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Fidel Rosalio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fidel Rosalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Elija having to interfere. When Ramblón AFC's Geronimo Argi in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palomar FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mateo Elija showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Argi in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Palomar FC's Amancio Bartoleme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Miro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Igor Txilar's late challenge caught a Palomar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Txilar helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ramblón AFC's Igor Txilar got a free kick in the 74th minute. When Ovidio Chuan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 76 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Oscar Miro was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fidel Rosalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Mateo Elija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Chuan succeeded in the game's 97th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Ramblón AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
