Celedonio Liberto scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Venerando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 9 minutes into the match, Tala's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Pepillo came free, but Maximo Mingo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximo Mingo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cecilio Federigo went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the game, Cecilio Federigo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Maximo Mingo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Isidoro Cortez fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tala's protests and gave Isidoro Cortez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Leales AFC booed when Tala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Cortez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Boni kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Gaspar Pepillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Cecilio Federigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leales AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Federigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Mingo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leales AFC's goalkeeper Augusto Venerando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 41 minutes, Isaac Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Leales AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Cesario to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Isaac Lopez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augusto Venerando. Leales AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Lopez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaac Lopez was the one to do the kick off. Augusto Venerando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Lopez in the 51st minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Tala's Isaac Lopez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Venerando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celedonio Liberto during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Tala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Liberto to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute Isaac Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Venerando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Lopez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Tala's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Vladimiro Eladio's late challenge caught a Tala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimiro Eladio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Leales AFC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Vladimiro Eladio hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Isaac Lopez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Venerando was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Celedonio Liberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Venerando having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Celedonio Liberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Liberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
