Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Flavio Rico kicked off to start the match. Jonathan Sugoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 7 minutes into the match, Flavio Rico notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Espirillos's Genaro Honesto. Genaro Honesto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Sugoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Honesto having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Flavio Rico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Honesto was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Espirillos's Orlando Dodorol threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Modesto Cordaryal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Genaro Honesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Sugoi in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Flavio Rico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Genaro Honesto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Jonathan Sugoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Modesto Cordaryal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espirillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Cordaryal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Dodorol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Modesto Cordaryal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Modesto Cordaryal made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Rico got free with Genaro Honesto in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Genaro Honesto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manzano AFC. Jonathan Sugoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Genaro Honesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Manzano AFC booed when Espirillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Vistruario didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Manzano AFC's Flavio Rico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 89th minute, Honorio Liher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orlando Dodorol was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After 93 minutes, Baldomiro Acuña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manzano AFC and the Espirillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manzano AFC's goalkeeper Orlando Dodorol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Manzano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Liher came free, but Orlando Dodorol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Manzano AFC booed when Espirillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 100 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Cheche didn't get a good kick on the ball.
