Aibar's Carmelo Gaueko got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carmelo Gaueko hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. MERCEDES's goalkeeper Omar Restu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Omar Restu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Gaueko in the 44th minute of play. When Leonel Rivas came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Aibar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Rivas couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Aibar booed when C. A. MERCEDES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Orti didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Aibar left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C. A. MERCEDES.
