With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erubiel Izel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Susana's zone, Leonel Rivas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Gumaro came out of the goal and Leonel Rivas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Leonel Rivas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aibar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Rivas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Susana's zone, Carmelo Gaueko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Gumaro came out of the goal and Carmelo Gaueko tried to chip the ball over his head. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laureano Valerio made a kick off. Carmelo Gaueko kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aibar's goalkeeper Erubiel Izel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
