Timoteo Christobal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Joaquin Vasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Panqueua AFC's Miguel Llorian got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Miguel Llorian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rene Perutxo. Cordona FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Llorian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Cordona FC's Everardo Fanuco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timoteo Christobal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Panqueua AFC's Miguel Llorian got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Carlos Balasi came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Cordona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Balasi couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Everardo Fanuco was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Benjamin Dominguez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cordona FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panqueua AFC the free kick. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Joaquin Vasco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rene Perutxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Llorian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timoteo Christobal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Balasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Amador Lucian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rene Perutxo. Cordona FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Cordona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Bastian to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Panqueua AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Fanuco came free, but Timoteo Christobal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Joaquin Vasco notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Cordona FC's Rene Perutxo.
