Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Fanuco in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Abilio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th minute Carlos Balasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Abilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Perutxo had great luck who in the 14thth minute grab hold of the ball when Albino Xacintu from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The supporters of Cordona FC booed when The Invincibles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Bittor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Carlos Balasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Abilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everardo Fanuco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aaron Abilio having to make a save. Everardo Fanuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Abilio having to interfere. Everardo Fanuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Aaron Abilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Fernado scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rene Perutxo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raul Fernado's late challenge caught a Cordona FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raul Fernado helped the player get up and apologised. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Everardo Fanuco to make the kick off. After 55 minutes The Invincibles's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paolo Kismi who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of The Invincibles's goalie and right to Tomás Arias. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. The Invincibles's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The Invincibles's Aaron Abilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Fanuco in the 64th minute of play. Carlos Balasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Aaron Abilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Balasi got free with Aaron Abilio in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Balasi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Aaron Abilio 70 minutes into the match. The Invincibles's Aaron Abilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Fanuco in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to The Invincibles getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Melquiades Guzman hit a great ball. When Carlos Balasi fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cordona FC's protests and gave Carlos Balasi a yellow card for diving instead. Aaron Abilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Fanuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Raul Fernado came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the The Invincibles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Fernado couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Raul Fernado made a precise shot to the right of Rene Perutxo. Cordona FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
