With a little luck, Administradores's Aldo Foro got control of the ball when Ivan Quinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivan Quinto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Aldo Foro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Tabor in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Candido Bizi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Quinto got free with Aldo Foro in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Candido Bizi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Galindo in the 29th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arsenio Galindo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florentino Venceslas's late challenge caught a Administradores's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florentino Venceslas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Administradores booed when Esperanza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Venceslas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Victorino Vitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Foro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorino Vitin's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeledon Heli during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Administradores getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Zeledon Heli hit a great ball. When Esperanza's Victorino Vitin in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Administradores's goalie prevented a goal. Godfredo Gonsalvo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 67 minutes of play, Esperanza's Victorino Vitin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldo Foro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 70 minutes, Ivan Quinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esperanza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Quinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Candido Bizi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Galindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Administradores's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Quinto came free, but Aldo Foro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Administradores's zone, Ivan Quinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Foro came out of the goal and Ivan Quinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Administradores's Aldo Foro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Quinto in the 91st minute of play.
