Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lucas Salvatore kicked off to start the match. Aaron Ler struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Gustavo Perico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chimborazo. Edgardo Rozarius charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgardo Rozarius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, Ombucto AFC's Niceto Munio tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ezequiel Stanislao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Chucho in the 13th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Garaile during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Chimborazo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Garaile to maneuver through the defense. If Lucas Salvatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Lucio Chucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustavo Perico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Salvatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, David Dayam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ezequiel Stanislao. Chimborazo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Dayam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 44th minute Epifanio Veronica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Stanislao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Dayam during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Ombucto AFC got a freekick which was hit by David Dayam. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Dayam to make the kick off. Chimborazo's Aaron Ler got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elpidio Orland hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Ombucto AFC's Niceto Munio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ezequiel Stanislao but with some difficulty. Gustavo Perico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Ler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Ombucto AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chimborazo:s goal. The referee gave Chimborazo a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elpidio Orland, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ombucto AFC's Gustavo Perico. 1-2. Lucio Chucho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Ezequiel Stanislao when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ezequiel Stanislao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Dayam in the 71st minute of the match. Aaron Ler might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Perico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aaron Ler ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustavo Perico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Ler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niceto Munio, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Ombucto AFC booed when Chimborazo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Ombucto AFC's David Dayam dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. If David Dayam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aaron Ler came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Chimborazo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Ler couldn't finish the play. Aaron Ler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Salvatore might have been able to make a better finish in the 99th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Perico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Salvatore ran back to his position shaking his head.
