In the 27th minute, one of Cipoletti:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cipoletti. When the match had been going on for 29 minutes, Ombucto AFC's Niceto Munio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Higinio Maore. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, David Dayam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ombucto AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Dayam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Maore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Lucio Chucho took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Higinio Maore to make any attempt to save it. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cipoletti's goalkeeper Higinio Maore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cipoletti's Flavio Menendo got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Cirilo Darien fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cipoletti's protests and gave Cirilo Darien a yellow card for diving instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Dayam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Higinio Maore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cipoletti's Higinio Maore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Dayam in the 89th minute of play.
