The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Domingo Ramone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Aurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 11 BASTIAS's Fabio Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Aurre in the 8th minute of play. Lojloj's David Baleren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Kinsen in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th minute Cosme Kinsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Baleren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Santiago Aurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Omar Benvide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lojloj getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Marco Santo hit a great ball. Fabio Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Aurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Lojloj's Fabian Dantae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Merexildo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Lojloj getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Anacleto Boni hit a great ball. David Baleren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Benvide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 BASTIAS's Florentino Larpe suffered a sore thigh after 33 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Marco Santo fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lojloj's protests and gave Marco Santo a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lojloj! Silvio Ubendu placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Domingo Ramone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Baleren having to interfere. Omar Benvide struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. David Baleren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 11 BASTIAS. In the 42nd minute Omar Benvide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Baleren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Lojloj got a freekick which was hit by Julian Etxatxu. When 11 BASTIAS's Omar Benvide in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lojloj's goalie prevented a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Omar Benvide made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Lojloj's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silvio Ubendu who took care of the corner kick. In the 60thth minute of the game Santiago Aurre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 11 BASTIAS's Fabio Merexildo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 62 played minutes Lojloj got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Shantala. If Santiago Aurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Omar Benvide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Baleren was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After some careless play in the 11 BASTIAS defense, Santiago Aurre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Merexildo. The 11 BASTIAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Merexildo should have stopped the shot. In the 91stth minute of the game Omar Benvide who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lojloj's David Baleren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 93 minutes of play, Lojloj's Santiago Aurre made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Merexildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santiago Aurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Fabio Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
