In the 17th minute Eulalio Elixio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Rojelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Peli struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Baldomiro Egoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bustamante FC. Anselmo Malvin's late challenge caught a Bustamante FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Malvin helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Algarrobal got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Malvin. Arnaldo Unax charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Unax the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arnaldo Unax kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Epifanio Peli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Baldomiro Egoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Epifanio Peli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Enol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Egoi having to interfere. Leopoldo Montrell kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Ernesto Burni fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bustamante FC's protests and gave Ernesto Burni a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Bustamante FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Burni. 58 minutes into the match, Algarrobal's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Peli came free, but Baldomiro Egoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomiro Egoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Enol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Rojelio came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Algarrobal's Fernando Peruxu. But to his dismay, Fernando Peruxu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Epifanio Peli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bustamante FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Peli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Egoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute, Bustamante FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fernando Peruxu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Justo Rojelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Elixio, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Eulalio Elixio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Justo Rojelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eulalio Elixio came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Algarrobal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Elixio couldn't finish the play. 98 minutes in the game, Eulalio Elixio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Justo Rojelio having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
