When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evelio Jax made a kick off. Rene Umbruso, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Evelio Jax struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Manuel Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ordóñez FC. Evelio Jax scored 0-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Lopez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Magdalena FC's goalkeeper Manuel Lopez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arsenio Musko. 61 minutes in the game, Evelio Jax fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Manuel Lopez having to interfere. When Arsenio Musko came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Ordóñez FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Musko couldn't finish the play. Epifanio Abechuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Estebano in the 65th minute of play. Edelmiro Estebano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Abechuco having to interfere. If Teodoro Aragones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Edelmiro Estebano sped through Ordóñez FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Epifanio Abechuco. Ordóñez FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
