Victor Dabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Lorien having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Eriberto Katia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Lorien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Totakoxe in the 33rd minute of play. Gustavo Lorien didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Dabi went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Gustavo Lorien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Totakoxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Dabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Lorien having to interfere. The Pujato AFC fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Pujato AFC's Francisco Totakoxe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Victor Dabi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Gustavo Lorien made a huge save. Merced AFC's Gustavo Lorien proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Merced AFC from getting a goal against them. Isaias Joseph's late challenge caught a Merced AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaias Joseph helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Pujato AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Joseph to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Txema sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 69th minute of the match Isaias Joseph completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Isaias Joseph a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Merced AFC booed when Pujato AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Joseph didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Txema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Chuse having to interfere. Esteban Rito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacinto Bernard kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Rito in the 78th minute of play forced Pujato AFC's goalkeeper Honorio Chuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Merced AFC booed when Pujato AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Fidencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 minutes, Isaias Txaran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pujato AFC and the Merced AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Isaias Txaran hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Merced AFC's goalkeeper Gustavo Lorien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Dabi. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Froilan Ovando during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pujato AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Merced AFC. Norberto Leobardo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Honorio Chuse. 1-4. In the 97th minute, Silvestre Meder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Merced AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pujato AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
