Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilfredo Federigo in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edelmiro Policarpio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Wilfredo Federigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 16 in the game by Armando Arias from a close distance when the talented Edelmiro Policarpio managed to make a qualified save. Peronistas FC's players were relieved. After 17 minutes of play, Peronistas FC's Niceto Telesforo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvio Luzaide was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquin Espiridion hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. A hard shot 30 in the game by Armando Arias from a close distance when the talented Edelmiro Policarpio managed to make a qualified save. Peronistas FC's players were relieved. Silvio Luzaide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Telesforo in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Aberastain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Xabat to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Jimeno Fidencio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvio Luzaide was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Wilfredo Federigo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Edelmiro Policarpio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aberastain. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Federigo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Armando Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Edelmiro Policarpio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Peronistas FC got a freekick which was hit by Javier Osoro. Armando Arias took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edelmiro Policarpio. Edelmiro Policarpio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Maximiliano Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armando Arias struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Edelmiro Policarpio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aberastain. Armando Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Policarpio having to interfere. Edelmiro Policarpio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Arias in the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Armando Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aberastain's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Arias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edelmiro Policarpio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
