Jonatan Jeraldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Atarrabi in the 11th minute of the match. Marco Martino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Genaro Hodei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Molinitos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Havier came free, but Jonatan Jeraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Havier in the 23rd minute of play forced Molinitos AFC's goalkeeper Jonatan Jeraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Hodei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Martino in the 26th minute. In the 42nd minute Raul Havier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Jeraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Roberto Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Espirillos's Genaro Hodei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Espirillos from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Matai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Marco Martino made a precise shot to the right of Genaro Hodei. Espirillos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Roberto Matai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Roberto Matai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Molinitos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Matai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Hodei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Martino in the 66th minute of play forced Espirillos's goalkeeper Genaro Hodei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Espirillos booed when Molinitos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Tonete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Havier in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The Espirillos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Hodei should have stopped the shot.
