After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Alberto Maurin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceballos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Maurin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Gorbea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Americo Omero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. Ceballos AFC's Alberto Maurin got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damaso Birila during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ceballos AFC booed when Talumuyuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Birila didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Alberto Maurin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ceballos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Maurin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivan Gorbea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Maurin's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Ivan Gorbea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Maurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, Talumuyuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Guzman to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Americo Omero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Gorbea. Talumuyuna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Americo Omero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gabriel Ovando charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Ovando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Ceballos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Ovando. Javier Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Anselmo Telmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Damaso Birila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talumuyuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Birila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Telmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Ceballos AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Maurin made a kick off. Alberto Maurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cosme Rosio fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talumuyuna's protests and gave Cosme Rosio a yellow card for diving instead. Cosme Rosio hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Americo Omero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Gorbea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Maurin, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Americo Omero came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ivan Gorbea could save by the left post. Alberto Maurin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th match minute, Talumuyuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Rosio to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Ceballos AFC's Generoso Goiz tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Maurin in the 73rd minute of play forced Talumuyuna's goalkeeper Ivan Gorbea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Alberto Maurin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ceballos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Maurin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Maurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Gorbea having to interfere. Ivan Gorbea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Maurin in the 86th minute of the match. Ivan Gorbea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Maurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Ceballos AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Talumuyuna.
