Americo Omero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Narciso Rubio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Americo Omero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Havier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Anselmo Telmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Poncio kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ivan Ellande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Havier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Telmo having to interfere. Anselmo Telmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Havier in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Americo Omero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Rubio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Maurin in the 34th minute of play forced Maquito AFC's goalkeeper Narciso Rubio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Americo Omero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ceballos AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ceballos AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eliseo Palben was slow to take the kick. During this time Maquito AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Eliseo Palben almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ceballos AFC's Anselmo Telmo did a great save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 56 played minutes Ceballos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Ortle. In the 59th match minute, Maquito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Poncio to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Maurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Narciso Rubio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Rubio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Maurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, Ceballos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Claris to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th match minute, Maquito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Mederi to maneuver through the defense. Bernardino Mederi kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. If Ivan Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. Alberto Maurin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Narciso Rubio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Maurin in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Rubio saved Maquito AFC from getting behind. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Ivan Oxel put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maquito AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Generoso Goiz placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Americo Omero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceballos AFC's Maximino Claris got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Maximino Claris off the ground. Anselmo Telmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Ellande in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ceballos AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
