After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ulises Roldanillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chazón FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Roldanillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Mero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Sebastian Ticho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Mikelats might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amador Mero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogelio Mikelats ran back to his position shaking his head. Albano Manex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Curcio, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacobo Curcio made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Mikelats in the 55th minute of play forced Añelo's goalkeeper Amador Mero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Roldanillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Amador Mero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Añelo's Amador Mero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Roldanillo in the 59th minute of play. Rogelio Mikelats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Amador Mero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Curcio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Vela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Albano Manex made a huge save. When Jacobo Curcio came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Añelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Curcio couldn't finish the play. Ulises Roldanillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rogelio Mikelats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Curcio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Vela's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Albano Manex skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
