Sparta FC's Conrado Emeterio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Sparta FC from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, Crámer's Denis Malvin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conrado Emeterio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Conrado Emeterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Lekubegi in the 29th minute of play. Eriberto Lekubegi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Emeterio having to interfere. If Eriberto Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Crámer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Carlomagno to maneuver through the defense. Denis Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Emeterio having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Lekubegi in the 87th minute of play forced Sparta FC's goalkeeper Conrado Emeterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Denis Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Ladio's late challenge caught a Sparta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apolo Ladio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Crámer getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Apolo Ladio hit a great ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
