In the 18th match minute, Bordeu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Sabin to maneuver through the defense. Elpidio Etxekopar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Cordairo having to interfere. Lino Pero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Florencio Cordairo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bordeu's zone, Elpidio Etxekopar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Cordairo came out of the goal and Elpidio Etxekopar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cirilo Cordarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquin Gaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Cerilo having to interfere. Maximo Cerilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Cordarius in the 40th minute of the match. Elpidio Etxekopar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Florencio Cordairo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elpidio Etxekopar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Ihazintu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Bordeu's Ramon Inautzi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Merayo. Elpidio Etxekopar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Elpidio Etxekopar came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Merayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Etxekopar couldn't finish the play. Florencio Cordairo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Etxekopar, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Elpidio Etxekopar might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florencio Cordairo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elpidio Etxekopar ran back to his position shaking his head. Lino Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Bordeu's Virgilio Jaume got a free kick in the 77th minute. When Lino Pero came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Merayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Pero couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Elpidio Etxekopar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merayo's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Etxekopar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Cordairo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lino Pero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Cordairo having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Ruben Guilabertus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merayo and the Bordeu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Ruben Guilabertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Merayo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ramon Inautzi was slow to take the kick. During this time Bordeu's players had a chance to rest. Teofilo Acosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Cordairo having to interfere. Merayo were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
