When Astor Kauldi fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miraflores's protests and gave Astor Kauldi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Potrerillo AFC booed when Miraflores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Kauldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Kauldi was shown his second yellow card after 21 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Potrerillo AFC booed when Miraflores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Kauldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miraflores's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Carmelo Transito scored to the left of an out of position Ismael Ovando, making the score, 1-0. Artemio Venceslao in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ismael Ovando, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Angelino Ibañez kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Horacio Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Carmelo Transito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horacio Atarrabi made a kick off. When Baldomero Totakoxe fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miraflores's protests and gave Baldomero Totakoxe a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Potrerillo AFC's Esteve Bibiano tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Transito in the 74th minute of play forced Miraflores's goalkeeper Ismael Ovando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Atarrabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Horacio Videl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Iraunkor charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Iraunkor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th match minute, Potrerillo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Iraunkor to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Ovando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Transito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Artemio Venceslao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potrerillo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Artemio Venceslao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Ovando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horacio Videl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Hernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Potrerillo AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
