An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Senin in the 5th minute of play forced C.A.OLIMPO's goalkeeper Andres Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Gelacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Andres Eguen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th match minute, C.A.OLIMPO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Laurentzi to maneuver through the defense. Rigoberto Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Raymundo in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Cubanea AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Mercurio came free, but Rigoberto Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Santiago Raymundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.OLIMPO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When C.A.OLIMPO's Modesto Mercurio in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cubanea AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Modesto Mercurio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. The referee ignored C.A.OLIMPO's protests and gave Anastasio Rivas a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A.OLIMPO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Paolo Franco shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Melquiades Gelacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Katia's late challenge caught a Cubanea AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Katia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, C.A.OLIMPO's Diego Katia got a free kick in the 41st minute. Melquiades Gelacio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Andres Eguen made a huge save. After having played for 46 minutes, Santiago Raymundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.OLIMPO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Raymundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cubanea AFC's Rigoberto Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Katia in the 49th minute of play.

The Cubanea AFC fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Cubanea AFC's Melquiades Gelacio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Melquiades Gelacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Andres Eguen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Gelacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melquiades Gelacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Eguen having to interfere. The supporters of Cubanea AFC booed when C.A.OLIMPO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Laurentzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusebio Senin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Eguen having to interfere. Santiago Raymundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Rigoberto Matai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andres Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Senin in the 94th minute of the match. Cubanea AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
