Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Aureliano Ponce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Gaizko in the 4th minute of the match. Ambrosio Gustau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Irrintzi in the 8th minute of play. Pedro Gaizko was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Arenales's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 20 minutes into the game, Flavio Crispo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anzulón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arenales the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Anzulón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Crispo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Tercero in the 26th minute of play forced Arenales's goalkeeper Ambrosio Gustau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambrosio Gustau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Tercero in the 30th minute of play. When Gaston Tercero came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Anzulón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Tercero couldn't finish the play. Gaston Tercero struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ambrosio Gustau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anzulón. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Cesar Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arenales's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Gomez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliano Ponce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Gaizko was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Gaizko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aureliano Ponce having to make a save. Arenales's Pedro Gaizko got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ambrosio Gustau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Tercero, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Cristo Irrintzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Anzulón booed when Arenales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Lohitzun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Anzulón's Flavio Crispo tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Arenales's Ambrosio Gustau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Tercero in the 63rd minute of play. Anzulón's Cristo Irrintzi got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Anzulón's zone, Pedro Gaizko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Ponce came out of the goal and Pedro Gaizko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesar Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Ponce having to interfere. Aureliano Ponce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Gaizko, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
