Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bañado's Florentino Rey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maximo Lleir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Ricart in the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Bañado booed when Animán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Dino didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Animán getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Uriel Jerico hit a great ball. Florentino Rey might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximo Lleir. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florentino Rey ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Animán defense, Eriberto Ricart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximo Lleir. The Animán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximo Lleir should have stopped the shot. In the 17thth minute of the game Florentino Rey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Animán's Maximo Lleir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Rey in the 19th minute of play forced Animán's goalkeeper Maximo Lleir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Henrico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Bittor having to interfere. Animán's Severo Henrico got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severo Henrico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inocencio Bittor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Conrado Nisio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Inocencio Bittor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximo Lleir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Ricart, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Severo Henrico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inocencio Bittor having to make a save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Severo Henrico made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bañado's Rolando Eufrasio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Dalmacio Fernanco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 55th match minute, Bañado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Bermund to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Lleir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Eriberto Ricart put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Maximo Lleir. Severo Henrico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Inocencio Bittor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emiliano Bermund hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Maximo Lleir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Rey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conrado Nisio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes Bañado got a freekick which was hit by Javier Refugio. In the 79th minute, Conrado Nisio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severino Dino kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Florentino Rey struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Maximo Lleir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bañado. Eriberto Ricart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Maximo Lleir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bañado's Emiliano Bermund got a free kick in the 97th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bañado eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
