After 2 minutes, Tadeo Irrintzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capilla and the Sant Llorenç players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sant Llorenç booed when Capilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Irrintzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melchor Columbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Abaurre in the 4th minute of play. After 14 minutes of play, Capilla's Emanuel Casomiro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melchor Columbo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Sant Llorenç getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rodrigo Raulo hit a great ball. Maximiliano Baladi, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Capilla's Joaquin Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Uhin in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sant Llorenç's Esteban Federigo got a free kick in the 38th minute. A collision led to Sant Llorenç getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Sant Llorenç's Melchor Columbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Casomiro in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafino Abaurre was the one to do the kick off. Fabio Olentzaro's late challenge caught a Capilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Olentzaro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Fabio Olentzaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sant Llorenç's Melchor Columbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Abaurre in the 65th minute of play. Capilla's Emanuel Casomiro got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 74 played minutes Sant Llorenç got a freekick which was hit by Severo Emmanuel. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Eneto during the 77th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Capilla fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sant Llorenç had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
