One of Chacras AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Piñero AFC:s goal. The referee gave Piñero AFC a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. Piñero AFC's Casimiro Hotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Sagrario in the 25th minute of play. If Benito Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Piñero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Cambranes to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Froilan Sagrario in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casimiro Hotz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Piñero AFC's zone, Froilan Sagrario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Hotz came out of the goal and Froilan Sagrario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Nayely might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casimiro Hotz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Nayely ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Chacras AFC's Bonifacio Paulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Deunoro in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Andres Deunoro notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chacras AFC's Bonifacio Paulin. Bonifacio Paulin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Benito Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute.
