In the 5thth minute of the game Filomeno Buinton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ciclon AC's Natalio Bemabe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciclon AC's Adolfo Sugar got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, Ciclon AC's Adolfo Sugar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico Remigio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 15th minute of the match, Filomeno Buinton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Natalio Bemabe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 17 minutes into the game, Froilan Omero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Federico Remigio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the match, Ciclon AC's goalkeeper Natalio Bemabe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marciano Marko. Adolfo Sugar might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Federico Remigio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barranqueras's Federico Remigio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Omero in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciclon AC's goalkeeper Natalio Bemabe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Natalio Bemabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Buinton in the 43rd minute of the match. Froilan Omero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Sugar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Federico Remigio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
