In the 3rd minute Alberto Cordarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Bilbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Hondo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Clodoveo Burutzagi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Victor Edorta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Hondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Burutzagi having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Rosendo Cordaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clodoveo Burutzagi made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Emanuel Hondo sent off a good shot on target. In the 16thth minute of the game Jaime Maura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarmiento AFC's Gerardo Bilbo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victor Edorta kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Alberto Cordarius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cactaca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Cordarius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaime Maura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Emanuel Hondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Bilbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Cordarius in the 36th minute of the match. Gerardo Bilbo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Cordarius went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cactaca FC's Alberto Cordarius got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jaime Maura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 49th minute of the match Cactaca FC got a corner. Sarmiento AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ismael Kemen ran over to the corner to take the kick. After the first half Cactaca FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Cordarius was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Cordaro in the 59th minute of play forced Cactaca FC's goalkeeper Clodoveo Burutzagi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Maura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Gerardo Bilbo made a huge save. Clodoveo Burutzagi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Hondo in the 68th minute of play. Jaime Maura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Sarmiento AFC's goalkeeper Gerardo Bilbo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Maura. Clodoveo Burutzagi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Cordaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute Rosendo Cordaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Burutzagi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 minutes of play, Sarmiento AFC's Emanuel Hondo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clodoveo Burutzagi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emanuel Hondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cactaca FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sarmiento AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
